If the biometric devices and the odoo server installed networks are different, Please ensure the below things:
1.Should have static IP for the biometric device installed network and biometric device connected port is open or not.
2.Check the ping connection is getting or not from odoo server to biometric device installed network IP.
If the biometric devices and the odoo server installed in same network, Please check is there any network related issue.
